Version 1.0 · Effective: October 11, 2026.
This policy explains how Stylium uses artificial intelligence, what you can expect from it and the rules for using it. It forms part of our Terms of Use.
1. Where Stylium uses AI
| Feature | What the AI does | Consent needed? |
|---|---|---|
| AI tagging | Reads a clothing photo and suggests type, colour, pattern, fabric, season and formality | Yes |
| AI styling (Studio stylist) | Builds outfits from your wardrobe using clothing attributes, the weather and your note | Yes |
| Upload safety check | Checks every uploaded photo for nudity before it is saved | No — mandatory safety measure |
The AI model behind the wardrobe app is provided by Anthropic (Claude). We may change providers; we will update this policy and, where the change affects your consent, ask again.
2. Transparency
2.1 Content created by AI (tags, outfit suggestions, stylist messages) is labelled as AI-generated in the app. [Confirm the label is shown on every AI surface; EU AI Act transparency duties apply from August 2026.]
2.2 You are always interacting with an automated system when you use the stylist, not a human stylist.
2.3 Without AI consent, Stylium uses rule-based suggestions; the product stays usable.
3. Your data
3.1 We send AI providers only what a task needs, as described in the AI Consent Notice and Privacy Policy.
3.2 We do not use your photos or wardrobe to train AI models, and our providers do not train on them. We do not sell your data.
3.3 Anthropic deletes API data within 30 days, except content its safety systems flag, which it may keep up to 2 years.
4. Limits of AI output
4.1 AI output can be wrong: it may misread colours, fabrics or fit, or suggest combinations that do not suit you, the weather or the occasion.
4.2 Suggestions are for inspiration. They are not professional, medical or safety advice (for example about extreme weather clothing). Check important choices yourself.
4.3 To the extent the law allows, AI output is provided "as is". Your mandatory consumer rights are not affected.
5. Ownership and use of output
5.1 You may use outfit suggestions and tags created for you for any personal purpose.
5.2 Suggestions may resemble suggestions given to other users; they are not exclusive.
5.3 You are responsible for making sure your use of output (for example in public posts) does not infringe third-party rights such as trademarks or designs.
6. Prohibited use of AI features
You must not:
- upload or try to generate sexual content, nudity, content involving minors, or images of other people without their permission;
- use AI features to harass, profile, identify or track people, or to infer sensitive characteristics;
- attempt prompt injection, jailbreaking or any manipulation of system instructions or safety filters, including through text in photos or notes;
- extract system prompts, model behaviour or outputs at scale, or use output to build a competing model or dataset;
- automate requests, share accounts or otherwise bypass daily limits and fair-use safeguards;
- use output in ways that violate the law or Anthropic's usage policies.
7. Safety measures and enforcement
7.1 We use automated checks, daily limits, spending caps and monitoring of anonymous usage metrics (no content) to keep AI features safe and available. We may switch AI features off temporarily for safety or cost reasons.
7.2 Violations may lead to blocked uploads, reduced AI limits, suspension or termination, as described in our Acceptable Use Policy.
8. Reporting
Report harmful or incorrect AI behaviour to abuse@spacemadecode.com. Please do not include sensitive personal data in reports.
