AI Consent Notice

← All legal documents

Version 1.0 · Effective: October 11, 2026.

This is the text shown when Stylium asks for permission to use AI features, and the public page that explains it. If the wording changes in substance, AI_CONSENT_VERSION must be increased so that users are asked again.

1. Consent dialog (in the app)

Title: Let Stylium AI look at your clothes?

Intro: Stylium AI reads your clothing photos and builds outfits from your wardrobe. It runs on an AI model from Anthropic, which processes part of your data on behalf of Space Made Code LLC, the company behind Stylium. Here is exactly what happens.

What is sent

  • *AI scan:* a reduced copy of the photo you add, without location or camera data.
  • *AI styling:* the type, colour, fabric, fit, season and formality of your pieces, your city and its forecast, and any note you type.
  • Never your name, email or piece names, and no photos for styling. A photo can show more than clothes, so we suggest photographing pieces on their own.

Where it goes Anthropic processes it on servers in the United States or other regions, outside the EU and Türkiye. This is a transfer of your personal data abroad, which you agree to by allowing AI.

How long it is kept Anthropic deletes what we send within 30 days and does not use it to train AI models. Content its safety systems flag as breaking its rules may be kept for up to 2 years. We keep your wardrobe until you remove a piece or delete your account.

Your choice Allowing AI is optional. If you say no, Stylium still works: you tag pieces yourself and get rule-based outfit ideas. You can change your mind at any time in Settings → Privacy; this does not affect processing already done.

One thing that is always on Every photo you upload is checked automatically for nudity before it is saved, using the same provider. This safety check is required to use uploads and is not part of this choice.

Checkbox / buttons:

  • Primary button: Allow AI
  • Secondary button: Not now
  • Link below the buttons: "Read the full [AI Consent Notice] and [Privacy Policy]."

Implementation notes: (1) The two buttons must have equal prominence; no pre-ticked boxes. (2) Store the event with user ID, action (accepted/withdrawn), version, timestamp and interface language (the current record_ai_consent RPC stores the first four — add language). (3) For users in Türkiye, KVKK requires explicit consent to be specific and separate from the Terms; do not bundle it with sign-up. (4) Under KVKK Art. 9 (as amended in 2024), explicit consent for transfer abroad is a fallback; the primary basis should be a standard contract with Anthropic notified to the Authority [counsel to confirm]. Keep the consent anyway for clarity.

2. Settings → Privacy (toggle)

  • Label: Let Stylium AI process my photos and wardrobe details
  • Help text: Used for AI scan when you add clothes and for AI styling. Turn it off and manual tagging and rule-based ideas keep working. The nudity safety check on uploads stays on.
  • On withdrawal (toast): AI is off. We will not send your photos or wardrobe details for AI tagging or styling from now on.

3. Public page (stylium.app/ai-consent)

This page repeats sections 1 and 2 and adds:

  • Who is responsible: Space Made Code LLC (controller), legal@spacemadecode.com.
  • Legal basis: your explicit consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and 49(1)(a) where relevant; KVKK Art. 5(1) and Art. 9).
  • Version history: v1 (initial, October 8, 2026) · v2 (adds 2-year retention exception for flagged content, transfer-abroad wording, withdrawal effect) — October 11, 2026.
  • Your rights: see the Privacy Policy and User Rights Request Procedure.
